Admission into the Doctor of Naturopathy program is an intentional process. We are looking for students who are ready for the depth of study this credential demands.
The Doctor of Naturopathy is a demanding credential. Graduation requires demonstrated mastery across every domain of the curriculum.
High school diploma or GED
Bachelor's degree preferred. A completed 60-credit health sciences program may substitute with Dean approval.
Personal statement
750–1,000 words articulating your health philosophy, healing tradition background, motivation, and intended scope of practice.
Two letters of recommendation
From instructors, employers, mentors, community leaders, or health practitioners who can speak to your readiness.
Prerequisites assessment
Complete the DRHHI prerequisite assessment or enroll in the Foundational Bridge Module if you have no prior health science coursework.
Code of Ethics agreement
Signed agreement to DRHHI Code of Ethics, Scope of Practice Declaration, and Student Handbook.
Complete all 124 credit hours with a minimum 75% in each course
200 supervised client contact hours, fully documented
Submit and defend a doctoral dissertation of no fewer than 80 pages
Pass the Capstone Integrative Case Presentation (SP-401) before a faculty panel
Complete ANWPB board preparation requirements
Maintain adherence to the DRHHI Code of Ethics throughout enrollment

Establish and operate a compliant sovereign wellness practice with legal infrastructure
Sit for the ANWPB board certification exam and qualify for IPHM registered practitioner status
